Kris was asked by the senior class president to speak at their graduation. Myrtle Point High School is the school he has been a counselor at this past year. He was happy to do it, however next year he will be moving on to Marshfield H.S. (high school in Coos Bay) to become their new PE and Health teacher, and head wrestling coach, and assistant freshmen football coach. He really enjoyed working at Myrtle Point, but will be glad to have to drive only 5 minutes to work instead of 30. We are officially Marshfield Pirates!!! Go Pirates!

way to go KRis! How many students graduated? i am sure that thye are sad to see you go.
Wow, what an honor! I am so glad he will be at a school closer to home. We went through that, it is horrible to be 30 min. from the school. It sounds like he will be so busy! I can't believe how big the kids are getting. They are so cute. Legos, I remember that. There are some people in our ward that will hire Zach to babysit and put together all the Lego kits. Funny!
Were you nervous Kris? And what kind of advice did you give those graduates? All kinds of good stuff I'm sure. It will be nice to be closer to home. But, I don't think anyone works as close to a school as Michael does :)
Sis. Davis! How the heck are you?? This is Meghan Mathews. I found your blog through the Brasiers'. It's soo good to catch up on your family. Your kids are so cute! I need your phone # so we can chat sometime.
Oh, and I hope by now you are aware that the great Steve Prefontaine is from Coos Bay?
So Kris is rolling with the big dogs, huh? Pretty cool! I hope he loves the school he's going to, too.
Hi Sonya and Family, I just wanted to say hello!
