Christmas Family Home Evening

For Family Home Evening last night 3 of my friends families came over.  We had soup and breadsticks, decorated graham cracker houses, and had a lesson on Christ's birth.  Scriptures were read, songs were sung, and we watched The Nativity accompanied by Amy Grant's "Breath Of Heaven."  We had a fun night and I think the kids enjoyed learning about the reason why we celebrate Christmas.  The Davis household is greatful for our Savior, Jesus Christ.

OOHHHH, A CHRISTMAS post even!! I love it! Sounds like a super fun family night. Man, I am soooo jealous of your big house with all that space to accommodate lots of people.

About New Year's Eve (I guess that's tomorrow!), Brian and I are having a few couples over after we put the kids to bed--probably around 8pm. Everyone is just going to bring snacks to share and we are going to play games and the wii and stuff. If you and Chris want to join us, we would LOVE to have you!

Hey Sonya! I used to play with Ammon all the time when we were little! Tell him hi for me too. I'm glad you're keeping it real with the ol' La Grande gang.
