Wow, what a big post. I have not posted anything since Kash was born. Well I thought it was about time to catch up. This summer we have had tons of fun. Hooray, Kash is here. He was born Sunday, May 24, @ 5:24pm. He weighed 8lbs. 12.5 oz, & was 21.5 inches. I had a great experience at the hospital, Kali came to watch him be delivered. He is doing great and the kids love him.

So, I only have 13 days left until my due date!!! I went to the doctor today and I have made no progress since last week, I was a little bit disappointed. So I am dilated to a 2 1/2, and he still is very high. So hopefully next week I will have changed a little. We have narrowed it down to 2 names, Kash and Karson. Kris and I love Kash, but Kali, Sarah, and Kole want Karson, they are worried he will get made fun of because his name is Kash. Most likely it will be Kash Soren Davis. I will keep you posted on how things are going.

Yeah I am 32 weeks, and only 55 days left. I have been feeling really good, but still need to sneak in a nap with Stella. My face, hands, feet and buttom are swelling, my exterior a little too much:) We still are working on a name, but nothing definite.

Kali is running track this spring and she had her first track meet on Saturday, March 28. She run the 60 m dash, 100m dash, and the softball throw. She did a great job.

We drove down the coast of Oregon into California and visited the Redwood forest. It was a fun day trip. We would stop along the coast and play for a while, get back into the car and drive some more. The coast is so beautiful, and the Redwood forest is amazing.

And yes we love all of you!

This was the top of the gondola ride(which to us was pretty scary). We were high up while riding in the gondola, and looking down gave us a heart attack.

Stella had a princess themed birthday party and invited 6 of her friends. They played Frog, Frog, Prince (princess version of duck, duck, goose), pin the crown on the princess, painted fingernails, and toes, decorated a burger king crown spray painted silver, and put on makeup. BOY!!!!!!! We are having a little boy and we couldn't be more excited. Kris was so nervous before the ultrasound, but so excited to add another boy. Kole was also so excited, he told me that he would push the stroller! The picture of the ultrasound isn't very good, the flash was in the way, but the top picture is of his gentile, and the bottom is of his face, as if you were standing above him looking down. We haven't decided on a name yet, we have a few in mind, but nothing 100%. We are so greatful for this little baby, and can't wait to met him.

For Family Home Evening last night 3 of my friends families came over. We had soup and breadsticks, decorated graham cracker houses, and had a lesson on Christ's birth. Scriptures were read, songs were sung, and we watched The Nativity accompanied by Amy Grant's "Breath Of Heaven." We had a fun night and I think the kids enjoyed learning about the reason why we celebrate Christmas. The Davis household is greatful for our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Kali had the opportunity to bring her classroom hamster pet home with her for the Holiday's, but we are sad to say that she is no longer with us. She passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, due to causes we won't discuss. We are all very sad, especially Kali.

We put up our Christmas tree the Monday after Thanksgiving, an 8 foot noble fir for only $30! Oh yeah it pays to be living in Christmas tree central! On Saturday the girls had their first volleyball games, they play 4 different teams for 10 minutes each. They had such a fun time playing, I on the other hand was pulling my hair out wanting to be in the middle of the game to help them.

I am finally posting Halloween pictures. The kids had fun dressing up. Kali was Elizabeth from Pirates, Sarah a witch, Kole an army guy, and Stella lady bug. Sarah and Kole had different costumes but at the last moment decided to be something else. Things are going well here. Kris started wrestling, Kali and Sarah are playing volleyball and their first game is on Saturday. Kole is wrestling. Last week he went to a tournament and did great, but not good enough for him. He is not a peewee anymore, but a bantom, so he wrestles kids a little older. I am starting to feel a little better, everyday is still different, but definitely better than I was a month ago.

Well, I am finally posting some great news, I am pregnant!! I am 10 weeks along and due May 25, 2009. The family is all excited to meet this baby. I haven't been doing good at all. This is probably, next to Kali, my worst pregnancy thus far. I have been very sick, on a good day I visit the porcelain queen only twice or less, on a bad day, well I really can't function. Kris has become really good at being the mom and the dad around here. I finally got something to help with the nausea and the vomiting, but that medicine makes me super tired and super dizzy. So I guess I have to decide which is easier. Kali makes the dinners around here, Sarah baths Stella, reads her books, dressed and ready for bed, Kole plays with my hair, and Stella is my bathing buddy. (I love taking baths because it makes me feel better for 10 minutes). Everyday is different and it makes me appreciate my health, which I can't wait to feel healthy again!!!! I think everyone in the Davis household can't wait either because I am a bear to live with, they never know when I am going to bite their heads off and spit them out.

Well I don't really know what he meant by that, but I guess I will take it is a compliment, because as if to cover for what he said, he immediately said "mom you are looking skinny" and then he gives me a hug. Nice, at least I am not bubbling, or floating?

"Stella could you please get off the chair and pick up those cheerios."

"Mom, I can't I am busy."

In the mean time she climbs off the chair and is looking at the cheerios.

"Well I think you should be busy cleaning up those cheerios."

"I can't pick them up because my body hurts."

Stella truly is a diva, she is too good to pick up her own messes! Not to mention using some pretty good excuses not to help. I think she has picked up those excuses from someone in our household.

Bringin Home the Salmon

I am so glad my husband brings home the bacon and on Saturday he brought home his first Salmon:) I prefer him bringing home the salmon to the bacon, but the electricity, t.v., phone, computer would eventually be turned off....we had a royal feast on Saturday night, the kids really loved when he cut the head off and took the guts out. Man this fish was tasteee, he only had to work 6 hours to get this bad boy. And by the looks of this picture the fish didn't smell to good. I love this man.

Wow! A New School Year!

I can't believe the summer has come and gone! We had so much fun, lots of good, good memories. Kali is in 4th gr., Sarah is in 3rd gr., and Kole is in Kindergarten. I take pictures with all the information for the new school year that otherwise I would forget.

Sarah's favorite memory she had of this summer, was going to the fair/grandma's house, and seeing Aunt's, uncles, and cousins in Vegas, and having family visit here.

Stella loved everything this summer, and I jinxed myself by posting that she is potty trained, well she is potty trained, but she isn't #2 trained. She did it for awhile, but one day she had an accident and since then she will not do that business on the toilet. Very frustrating. Anyway, she is at home with me all day long, and loves to go down to the bus stop to get the kids off the bus. She sure does miss them.

Deschutes County Fair

Boy we had a lot of fun at the Deschutes County Fair. The fairgrounds is hugh and well kept. The kids enjoyed the rides, the elephant ears, the fresh squeezed lemonade, seeing all of the animals, competing in the firefighter obstacle course, and the hula hoop contest. Kali won the hula hoop contest 2 years ago, but this was the year for Sarah, she came in 3rd out of about 50 give or take, and won $5.00. Kole, Kali, and Blake did a good job as well.

Kris' mom and dad hosted the Davis family reunion, it consisted of Kris' grandpa's brothers, and sisters, and their families. We had a lot of fun meeting new family members. Kris' cousin Stefanie had 3 girls the same ages of our 3 girls, so they had a lot of fun. The kids had a lot of fun on the water slide that grandma bought, we swam at the KOA, and had lots of good food.

Our 1st stop was Tugman State Park. This was a fun place to camp, the kids rode their bikes a lot, and even made some new friends, Kylee, and Brianne. For dinner one night we had tin foil chicken, potatoes, and carrots. That dinner, hands down, was the best I have ever had! Kris and I weren't sure how well it would turn out, but in the end we had nothing to worry about. While at Tugman we went to the lake close by and swam, had a wiffle ball game, rode our bikes, and always ended the night with games. Fun, fun memories.

Girls Camp Visit

Before we left on vacation, my friend Misty and I got to go and visit the young women in our ward up at girls camp. I am the Mia Maid adviser (girls 14-15) and Misty is the Laurel adviser (girls 16 & 17). We weren't able to go the whole time, but we had such a fun visit. We went and jump into this lagoon, clothes and all. The water so so cold it took my breath away when I jumped in, but you could not, not jump in because the water was so inviting. The picture below doesn't do it justice. The water was such a beautiful greenish color. We had so much fun jumping off the rocks, and swinging from the tree. Misty just moved on Friday to Medford:(, I am going to miss her and her kids. But Medford is only 2 1/2 hrs. away, so I will go and visit her often.

Well all my family that has come to visit us has come and gone. We had such a good time. I am so glad that they could come, however; I am very sad that they are all gone now. I waited for this all year and its over. It is kind of like Christmas you get so excited and then on the 26th you have a whole year to wait again. Anyway, we bought this new tent trailer and on Saturday we head out camping for a week and then we drive over to Redmond for a Davis family reunion, which we are all looking forward too. We also are going to the Deschutes county fair. The kids are so excited because they get to see their cousins, Blake and Jackson. While at the reunion we are going to be staying at a KOA with a nice swimming pool. So I will see you all in a couple of weeks.

I celebrated my birthday with Kris, my brother Shane and his wife Robin. We went to The Hilltop resturant where we had yummy salmon, halibut, and prime rib. Summer Vacation

We have been very busy this summer. We started the summer off (we left 2 days before school got out.) by driving down to Las Vegas. Kris worked at the Olympic trials for wrestling, while I visited my family. Kris flew back home, and a couple days later, I drove home with my sister Rachel, and parents behind me. We had so much fun with them here. My sister Crystal also came and visited with her kids, and boyfriend, as well as two of my oldest neices. Our house was full, but a lot of fun. We headed to the beach, to Hall lake, and to Shore Acres. Crystal left Wednesday, the 25, then on Sunday the 29 we all loaded up, and headed to Washington, where my sister Tara lives. (Kris stayed at home because he had wrestling practice.) I stayed there until Wednesday and then headed home, because my brother Shane and his family where headed to our house on Thursday, July 3. They got into Coos Bay late that night, then for the fourth we headed down to Port Orford, about 45 min. south of us, and had a bbq and watched fireworks on the beach. We have had a fun summer so far, Shane and his family left to visit Tara for a few days, Kris is off to Corvallis for a wrestling camp, and I am going to clean my house, and get ready for Shane to come back, after they leave we are going camping in our new pop-up tent trailer for a week, and then we are heading over to central Oregon for a Davis family reunion, and the Deschutes County Fair. Then it will be August. Wow, time flies when you are having fun. The kids have had so much fun with their cousins. WE love our family. My computer wont let me post pictures right now, I will post some soon, at the rate I am going it might not be until next month:)

Kris was asked by the senior class president to speak at their graduation. Myrtle Point High School is the school he has been a counselor at this past year. He was happy to do it, however next year he will be moving on to Marshfield H.S. (high school in Coos Bay) to become their new PE and Health teacher, and head wrestling coach, and assistant freshmen football coach. He really enjoyed working at Myrtle Point, but will be glad to have to drive only 5 minutes to work instead of 30. We are officially Marshfield Pirates!!! Go Pirates!

I will now always remember when my mom and dad's anniversary is because it falls on Kole's birthday. They have been married for 47 years. Wow! I am so greatful to have such wonderful parents. They love their children so much and have sacrificed so much for us.

For this years birthdays the kids get to invite one of their friends to go out to eat. This year Kole invited Liam Webster. We picked up Liam from school, he got to play at our house for a while, opened presents when dad got home ( which was torture for Kole, every 2 minutes he wanted to call and see where dad was) and then we went to Abby's pizza. They were suppose to have a baseball game, but it got canceled, which we were very sad because grandma and grandpa came to watch his game. After pizza we came home, and had cinnamon rolls.

Coquille River Lighthouse Fieldtrip

Since Grandma and Grandpa came into town, Kali and Sarah wanted to stay home with them. Grandma once being a school teacher herself decided to take them on a field trip, so they weren't official skipping school. Kali was the photographer and took a lot of fun pictures. They drove down to Bandon and climbed this lighthouse, and played on the cold beach for a while.

I added this picture because Stella thinks she is a Diva and will not take off this skirt, she wears it everywhere we go, and boy she gets everyones attention, which she loves.

Piano Recital

Kali and Sarah had their piano recital this past Monday. We had it at the church and were able to have it in the chapel because it was a Family Home Evening. They both did an outstanding job. They were both super nervous, but all in all did a wonderful job. Grandma and Grandpa Davis were able to come, and Alyssa Ellis, one of our young woman in our ward came to listen to them. Stella of course was a ham during their performance, and enjoyed dancing and climbing under the pews.

This is my mother-in-law, Maureen, she is also something wonderful. She is very supportive to Kris and I and the way we live our lives. She is so giving, she would give you her shirt off of her back if she had to. Kris can remember her making goodies, and always giving them away to others. We are so lucky to have her in our lives, we love her.

My kids were so sweet to me on Mother's Day, they let me sleep in, and this is what I woke up to. I could here them while they were making breakfast, we can't fight because it is mother's day and we want her to have a good day. Of course I did have a great day, Kris did everything for me and I didn't have to lift a finger (LOL). Actually, he did do the dishes all day long, he massaged my feet, the girls played with my hair and they sang to me at church, and for dinner we had steak, potatoes, salad, rolls, and dessert. Yummy!

Here is a picture with my mom, 4 of my sisters, and 2 sister-in-laws, my mom is absolutely amazing. I can't fathom how she raised 12 children, especially with all our needs and wants. She is such a wonderful example of patience, love, sacrifice, patience, I don't ever remember her complaining about how hard her life was, she might have, but I don't remember, she isn't a complainer and is a hard worker. We all love her so much, she truly is an angel.

Kole had his very first game tonight!! He is obsessed with whatever sport he is playing and all day long he has been talking about his game. He kept on asking me if I wanted the Cubs to win or the Yankees, and I mean he asked me all day long who I wanted to win, so much so that I finally told him the Yankees. He wanted to wear his uniform to school, he loves sports!!! He is also very serious little kid, when it comes to sports, sometimes too serious for his 5 year old body. He did a great job and after the game I heard him ask Kris if he was proud of him.

Each day after I take Kole to school, I park at the H.S., and run up and down these stairs 16 times.

I started with 10 and slowly have added more.

New things happening

So blogging is becoming to me like how I write in my journal. When I look back on my journal entries it is always started by.... I haven't written for a long time (usually 1, 2, or 3 months), now that is how I am going to start this blog....Well, I haven't posted anything new for a long time, and I don't have an excuse. My computer works, I have plenty of pictures, I just kind of avoid doing it ( just like writing in my journal) because I am so far behind. (Now that I think about it this also applies to scrapbooking too.) A lot of fun things have happened since I last wrote, Kali and Sarah got their ears pierced, again. The first time when they were about 3 years younger, but their ears got infected. Hopefully, this time they wont. Kole learned how to tie his shoes, and Stella got a new pair of flip flops. I got to go visit my family in Vegas, and meet my new nephews, Kade, Blake and Logan. They are all so cute. It was a quick, but fun trip.

I was busy blowing drying my hair, and when I was done, I couldn't find Stella. So I wandered around the house calling her name, no answer. So I back tracked, checking each room more thoroughly. Low and behold I found her in Sarah and Kali's closet with a bottle of fingernail polish. As you can tell she put it on her lips, like lipstick, and all over her arms, like lotion, but no fingernail polish on her toes or fingers. I realized what a bad mom I have been to Stella, she didn't know where fingernail polish went because I never have put any on her! So later that day I put some on her toes and fingers. She was so proud of her fingers and toes that all day she would show them to me and say "Pretty mom, pretty."

Weekend Getaway

This past weekend Kris and I were able to get away, alone, thanks to our neighbors! We first went and did a session at the Medford Temple (about 2 1/2 hrs away), then drove up to Eugene(another 2 1/2 hrs). In Eugene we watched the PAC 10 wrestling championship. One of his wrestlers from Palo Verde was wrestling for Stanford (Kyle Barrett), and another wrestler, that would wrestle for him in the summer, wrestled for CalPoly (Chase Pami). We were able to watch all sessions of the tournament, Kyle did well, considering he had just wrestled one match the whole season, he ended up getting 4th, but was seeded 8th. Chase won the tournament, and will go to nationals in 2 weeks.

Kyle's parents and grandparents, Sam Bailey and his father attended and we hung out with them the whole weekend. It was nice to visit with them, they are great families, who we miss. On Monday, we went to the Oregon bookstore and bought some attire for the children. We had such a fun weekend together.

How long have you been married? Going on 12 blissful years

How long were you dating? We dated for a very long time, 3 1/2 years, it took me that long to convince him.

Who eats more sweets? It depends on the day, and what diet that I am on. We both love sweets, I probably average more than he does.

Who said I love you first? We both don't remember. Does that surprise anyone? Because I do have the memory of I boy I can't remember his name!

Who is taller? Kris

Who can sing better? I don't know if you call it singing, but I definitly can.

Who is smarter? I was book smarter in college, but now it depends on what we are dealing with.

Who does the laundry? The washing machine and the dryer. I load the clothes in both, fold, but Kris does help with putting them away (hint: I fold them on his side of the bed, so that way if he wants to get into bed he has to put them away, if he falls asleep on the couch, he didn't want to help.)

Who pays the bills? Kris makes the money so I can pay the bills.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, I use to sleep on the other side, but from that side you can see into the livingroom and occasionally I would wake up and see someone standing in the doorway, so Kris made us change sides, Rachel you understand what I am saying.

Who cooks dinner? I get to, it has been nice, most of the time, because moving to Coos Bay I have been forced to cook, because they don't have 3/4 the selection of eating establishments as LV which made eating out easier.

Who drives? Kris drives most of the time when we are together. I do a lot of backseat driving, which Kris doesn't appreciate

Who's more stubborn? I asked Kris this question and he said that I was, and I said that he was, so what do you think?

Who kissed who first? Kris kissed me first. Kris asked me to a valentine dance and we where dancing a slow song, surprising I still remember who sings it Boys 2 Men I think it is called Water runs dry? Maybe?

Who asked who out first? Kris asked me out.

Who proposed? Kris did, and he sent me on a treasure hunt, very clever, and original.

Who wears the pants? I definitely do, but Kris lets me and when he has an opinion about a certain situation he lets me know.

Family Beach Afternoon

On Monday we all loaded up and headed to the beach. We roasted marshmallows, built sand castles, drank hot chocolate and had Family Home Evening around the campfire. We decided to make this a family tradition, and have FHE once a month around the campfire.

I have been super busy, I can't remember doing what, so I have finally set down to update our blog. It seems every time I tried in the last couple of weeks, I would get interupted and I never could finish. We had a fun Valentines day. Stella and Kole were lucky because they got to eat their valentine candy for breakfast. Kris and I celebrated V-day on Wednesday, because Kris left for Portland on Thursday for state wrestling. It was nice because the kids were babysat by Kali's activity day group. They watched them at the church, and their activity day leader had fun activities for them. Kali was able to work on her babysitting skills, she already is a great sitter and I can't wait for 2 more years when she can do it legally. On Saturday we went to Stella's birthday party ( a girl in Kole's preschool class) it was held at the indoor swimming pool. The kids had a lot of fun, they swam for 3 hours, we all went home and took naps. It was a great weekend. On Friday night a couple of my friends and their families came over and we all caught up on American Idol, it is a Friday night tradition, we make lots of popcorn, and enjoy the show.

Yesterday we had a pleasant surprise, it snowed on and off all day. Since they canceled school today we rolled out of bed, got bundled up and sled down the hill in front of our house, and built a couple snowmen. We are glad they canceled school because we were up late celebrating Stella's birthday.

I just wanted to share with everyone some of my favorites of Stella (okay a lot!) She has been so much fun and such a great little girl. She is always making us laugh and smile. She love to make messes, the bigger the better, she loves to play with her older brother and sisters, and wants to be included in everything. Her favorite food is candy, or anything sweet. She is very kind hearted and always gives hugs to those who are sad or hurt. We are greatful she is part of our family. We love you Stella

We have been lucky this past week, we've had beautiful weather, no rain and a full moon. Kris was able to get a lot of yard work done, which was way overdue. It was a nice day and we accomplished much. Thank you Martin Luther King Jr.

A Day at the Dentist

Yesterday we went to the dentist, boy was that fun! When we left Las Vegas and moved to Coos Bay, I knew we were moving to Redneck country, so I thought we needed to fit in, so I told my kids that they didn't have to brush their teeth anymore. They really liked that idea, I thought we were doing a good job of fitting in, and I figured our dentist would be thouroughly happy about it, but boy did I get a scolding. They told me the weren't sure they would be able to save Sarah's teeth, man I thought she looked pretty good, Heather what do you think? You are a dental hygenist, can her teeth be saved? They aren't too bad! (Acutally, poor Kole, he inhereted Bevell teeth, we last had our teeth cleaned in August, and he had no cavities, but since we moved here he now has 4.)

I really love our girls school, because during the day they get snacks. Well, this was a surprise for me when I was looking in Sarah's bag. Yum, yum!! She decided to brings this banana home with her because she didn't get to eat it. With Sarah this happens quite often, the other day I found 3 soft cheese sticks. I actually needed one more banana to make some banana bread, I think this one I found will do.

I have been trying to get into shape, so everyday after school I run up and down our hill, about 6 times. The last couple of days I have been lucky because it has only been drizzling, or no rain at all. Well today it started pouring when the kids got home from school, so I was talking to our neighbor, mentioning that I was waiting for it to ease up, and he said, well in about June it stops. So, as you can tell by the pictures I am not going to wait until June. It actually was quite fun running in the rain.

This was Kole's first wrestling tournament. He did awesome, pinned all of his kids, and took home a first place medal. He is done with wrestling now. He had a good season, but he is looking forward to the spring when he can play baseball along with Sarah and Kali.

Yeah, I finally was able to set down and figure this whole blog world out, well enough to start posted pictures, and such. I am so excited, because I thoroughly enjoy looking at everyone elses, so I hope you enjoy ours. For Christmas we were able to go over to Kris' parents house. They just moved into a beautiful new home. While we were there we were spoiled, we went ice skating, sledding, and even Santa visited us on Dec. 26 (we were waiting for family). Sarah said that Santa was able to come and visit because he wasn't busy anymore. Anyway enjoy.
